What’s new in version 4:
This new revised version of June 2021 contains our latest understanding on a number of elements in the Regulations and their amendment, in some cases also including the comments we have received from the European Commission:
- difference between ‘light source’ in these Regulations and in the Harmonised Nomenclature 2022 (Customs Codes)
- practical recommendation on CE marking of light sources placed on the market as part of a containing product
- regarding full-load and reference control setting: guidance on how to declare the energy class of light sources in a containing product
- recommendation on whether to register in EPREL products that will be phased out on 1 September 2021
- advice on how to supply the energy label on shaped surfaces
